Back when we were all allowed out I shot this on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in Northern Portugal (I can’t pretend I walked it all…) for Sunday Times Travel. It was largely spent trying the local vintages.

McQueens Flower School for Morning Calm Magazine

This was a fun job, shooting McQueens flower school for the Korean Air in-flight magazine, now sadly lost to Covid. Inspired by my friend the florist Janine Sultana and written by Belinda Craigie. Thanks to Sophie Powell for allowing us in.

Photographing the locals

In between lockdowns I had a chance to get out and take some quick, natural light shots of people in my neighbourhood. It was a chance to get some practice and to have contact with other humans.

UCL production of CPAP for use on Covid-19 patients

UCL Engineering worked with Mercedes Formula 1 racing team to produce, and G-Tem to distribute, the CPAP breathing device now used worldwide to help Covid-19 patients to breathe. As well as shooting at UCL’s labs we went to the G-Tem site in Gloucestershire, a rare trip outside London during lockdown.
